Event Description

Is there art in your world? We want to know. Pick a piece of public art, photograph or video or draw or write about it.

Tell us why you picked it. Do you love it? Did you make it? Do you hate it and hope it gets torn down?

If you don't have time to get a photo but you can find one on Flickr, use that picture as your focus (respecting the creative commons license of the photographer of course).

This is buff. Sorta like the functional and the form, plus over the water works for me too.

A trip in the rain, hoofing it through a work zone with new gas lines scattered about, yielded these shots, and some musings on the mural therein. http://mistergrumpy.livejournal.com/137996.html

Here is a picture of my husband and son from 1999. My son just had his 10th birthday and informed me that he is now a preteen. He texts girls on his phone and used a whole bottle of AXE spray in the last 2 weeks. I am really nostalgic about these days when he was a jolly baby for obvious reasons.
So while I am an artist and have been doing a lot of nice painting lately, I choose my son as my art. After all my dad once told me he was my best project..
